This year it's all about making my own ornaments for Christmas decorations. So made this cute Hygge inspired home using homemade clay ❤️
To make clay
Option 1:
1 cup baking soda
3/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup water
Mix the ingredients and place it on a low flame and stir till it becomes a non-sticky dough. Once done you can mould it to any shape you want.
To dry the ornaments: either use the oven or let it air dry.
Option 2:
1 cup of salt
1/2 cup water ( make sure your water is less than the salt)
Mix them until salt dissolves as much as possible because this will affect the texture.
1 cup all-purpose flour
1tbsp oil ( I prefer baby oil )
This is better if you air dry.
Painting tip: leave them as white as snow if you love Scandinavian vibes or paint them to add a vibrant feel to your Christmas.
